A new era: exclusive photos!

Posted in Gallery Update by Pristine on October 18th, 2008

In anticipation of Josh’s new album, A Collection, to be released next month, an exclusive set of photos has been released. Of course, I’m always very excited to discover a new photoshoot of Josh, but what’s so special about these photos is that they’re very sophisticated and herald a new era in Josh’s music.

Did anyone else feel he was chanelling Lee Pace in the album cover of A Collection? These new photos show a very grown-up side of Josh that he has been showing in his recent compositions on Awake and I can’t wait to see the new directions he’ll take with his music.

Meanwhile, I have updated the gallery. Highlights, other than this new collection of photos, include: Awake tour program, a look inside Josh’s home, new album art and Christmas photos.

eBay for Charity: Autographed Bertolli Dish

Bertolli signature dish autographed by JoshJosh autographs the Bertolli dish

Josh has always made it a point to support charitable causes and this year is no different. At the Emmy Awards last month, Bertolli (best known for its olive oil) went backstage and got Josh and 34 other celebrities to autograph their signature baking dishes. These items will be auctioned off on eBay to support Share Our Strength, an American organisation dedicated to fighting hunger and poverty around the world.

Autographed by Josh himself, this Bertolli Signature Dish is yours to have starting at US$255. Expensive? Maybe, but there’s no real price on the knowledge that what you’ll be doing will help keep kids and families from hunger.

For international buyers, it hasn’t been specified in the listing if Bertolli will ship outside of America. If you’re interested, it’s worth bugging the seller to post overseas. Charity is bounded by geography, is it?

Hurry, the auction ends in 5 days!

(Thanks to Meg Roberts for the heads up.)
