Awake CD/DVD Update!

Suffering post-concert blues? Or still waiting for Josh and and the Groband to tour your part of the world? Well, hopefully, the release of the Awake Concert CD/DVD, which was filmed in Utah, will ease the pain until Josh comes around next.

Billboard.com gives us more details.

Josh Groban’s Aug. 28, 2007, concert in Salt Lake City forms the basis for “Awake Live,” due May 6 via 143/Reprise. The CD/DVD set will spawn a PBS special scheduled to air in June.

Details are still coming together, but “Awake Live” will feature guest appearances by Angelique Kidjo and Lucia Micarelli. The title track will serve as the first radio single.

I’d also like to add, if you haven’t seen Josh live before, maybe because Josh seldom, if ever, tours your part of the world, don’t give up hope! We Aussies never thought Josh would ever tour Australia, but he finally came here last year, and it was a blast! As Josh becomes more well-known, he’s more likely to tour more countries. And he was the top-selling artist last year, so who knows?–Anything is possible.
